wow I love the new pics!!!
the Sweetface pic is so fucking hot; love the boots, the dress, head-scarf and hat! strike a pose baby hahaha. it reminds me of the Biba dress she wore to the VMA's in 2006, the dress she is discussing in the article too. just like the Marchesa pic reminds of a previous Elle shoot, she had curly hair, was a lil close up shoot, her gigglin, pink top on and a tiara.
the only pic I dont really like is the one with one of the D&G guys, her sitting on the chair. not a fan of the outfit.
but the other D&G pic look smokin! the Lagerfeld/Chanel pic is so old skool Hollywood and elegant absolutely love it! the one with the shoes and bathrobe (Atwood) looks smokin too, the sexy Jen. the Oscar de la Rente pic is crazy too, Jenny From The Block, our superstar from the ghetto lol.
love how this shoot reflects her different styles and personality: Marchesa the girly, lil goofy girl. Micheal Kors the business woman, Versace red carpet queen, de la Rente Jenny From The Block/Bronx girl, Lagerfeld old skool Hollywood glam, b&w D&G the haute couture Jen, chair D&G pic modern/everything looks good on her even 'mens' fashion, Atwood shoe pic the sexy Jen, Von Furstenberg poppy/bright Jen, the Sweetface pic the edgy funky Jen, trying out different stuff and not affraid to try something new and ofcourse it reflects the designer Jen too cuz its a piece from her clothingline.
but yeah kinda strange she didnt shot with Cavalli since they seemed very close, especially durin the pregnancy/tour/Brave era last year

damnz I love this shoot, this is easily the best shoot she did in the last 3 years!

ELLE took cover girl Jennifer Lopez on a whirlwind tour for the October issue, snapping the star with nine of her favorite designers. First, it was off to Milan to shoot with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, where Lopez posed in a fullforce power gown and a velvet page-boy outfit in the duo's garden. Next, shoe designer Brian Atwood met Lopez for an intimate encounter at her suite at the Four Seasons, where she gushed over the designer's fall lineup-particularly a ponyhair pump. After that, the singer sped to Donatella Versace's palazzo for a quick snap. Then it was back to New York City, where the ELLE team furiously shot seven more scenes with the star, including a portrait of her with Oscar de la Renta in Spanish Harlem; a photo with Michael Kors and the singer dashing to meet a private jet; more with Diane von Furstenberg, Karl Lagerfeld, and J.Lo in her own Sweetface label; and a Marie Antoinette-inspired tableau with Georgina Chapman, designer for Marchesa, where the two munched on macaroons and cupcakes-Lopez's idea.
