Alba said something about Jen's singing ability, if I remember correctly. Anyway, they both are over it and if Jen didn't speak to anyone that's ever said anything bad or negative towards her in Hollywood then she'd have a hard time getting a job. I think people in Hollywood for the most part are 2-faced for the exception of Jen of course..

Jen is the most powerful hispanic person in hollywood. Alba is only partly here through barriers Jen knocked down. Jen doesn't need any recognition by a two-bit actress thats why she won't be bothered. Alba has a tendancy to try and take down her fellow Latinas she has made negative comments about Eva Mendes as well.

Introduction to Jen-ology Posts: 86 09/02/08 9:34 PM	Salma Hayek thinks she's somebody, and let's be honest, the last movie that I've seen with her was Fools Rush In, which is pretty good (I might add). Don't get me wrong, she's a great actress, but she's no where near Jen's status, nor both Evas (Mendes/Longoria) and Alba. They all think they are, but Jen can keep a secret. Plus Alba is Mexican and so is Hayek so that could be the connection.

Hayek isn't mainstream, but she and Jen paved way for Latinas in Hollywood, remember when they would compete for roles? Although they definitely went their own directions (Jen went much further IMO). Hayek has her credentials (Oscar nom for Frida) and Hayek is very much in control of the movies she gets into, she's also directing and producing. Hayek will be featured in a huge upcoming blockbuster "Cirque du Freak", which the studios are hoping to be Harry Potter big.
