^ no I would say that in additon to OOS
The Cell was A,B,C & D - most definately
Angel Eyes was A,B,C & D
For me A,B,C is the most important like AUL is A,B,C.
I disagree. I don't think Angel Eyes was well received. I can't comment on The Cell because I was out of the country and computer/TV-less so I
have no idea what happened.
^ sorry Heather none of my cirteria talk about the film doing great with the critics. They are all subjective to my opinion if you know what I mean.
I mean both AE & TC had IMO
A - Good Story/concept
B - Good direction & script
C - Jen was really good in them
D - They both had a good release in terms of financial success TC more so. eg they didnt have finance issues like BT & L&OIP & TG.
I thought regardless of any criticsm AE got I thought the crtics said Jen performed well in it??

^ the visual and the direction yeah but not the script same goes for Angel eyes. Lol i agree Okeyok about Enough, i can't stand that movie.
dont want to seem picky but really what was wrong with TC's script? IMO there where no signifcant problems do you mean to get really down to
the exact dialogue in certain scenes??

I agree that reallty her worst where Enough & Gigli.
Anyway I suppose we better stay on topic. I wonder if there will be any heist element to TG. Its may be fun to see for once Jen being the criminal rather than
the Cop.

I said the "critics" because in general, they are the ones that decide that for the public, lol.
I think The Wedding Planner had all those things, lol.

What do you guys think of my opening for TG.
Movie scenes in Boston City:-
Shots of the city
Scene 1: (DAY) The movie starts off with Jen robbing a bank similar to George in OOS, but Jen gets away with it. something clever but not violent (jen looks
like she does in the MHF video with bobbed hair and wearing sunglasses)
Scene 2: she is hurrying away from the scene looks towards the bank and bumps into a guy and drops her phone which is ringing.
They look at each other and he hands it back to her. They continue in their opposite directions. She answers her phone: Its a man he asks her if the
hesit/robbery went well. she says she cant speak right now and has to keep going and continues walking.
Scene 3: She goes into a shop and puts a code into a door like the MHF video. She takes off her disguise like in the MHF video. She goes down stairs and meets
a guy (the one on the telephone) they kiss each other (its her boyfriend) He says she was delayed thought something went wrong thats why he rung. She laughs
and hands over the bag and says it was successful. He says he has to leave with it and exits.
Scene 4: Cuts back to guy she bumped into on the street. He has arrived at a school. Three kids come out he collects them and they get in a car. They talk
amongst themselves.
Scene 5: (Evening) Jen & her boyfriend are out in the city dicussing the days events. & they go back cuts back to their appartment at night.
Shots of Boston at night - cuts to
Shots of a Manor/ Large House in the Countryside.
Scene 6: (Morning) Guy she bumped into kids are up his sister arrives to help. Tells him to get a nanny because she can't do everything by himself. She
also says he should think about spending some time on himself. Its been almost a year maybe he should start dating. He says he doesnt want to.
Scene 7: (Morning) A caller at Jen & boyfriends appartment. Its an older guy with a briefcase. He sits down and explains their next job and says it
involves Jen becoming a nanny for a wealthy widower. He show her photographs she recognises him as the person she bumped into on the street yesterday but
doesn't say anything. She is reluctant to do the Job and says she doesn't know whether she can pull it off. Her boyfirend encourages her.
CUT - Thats as far as I have got. So what do you guys think??

The only problem Angel Eyes had was a dumb marketing team. It was a good film, very "pre-J.Lo" style if you will. However, when it's 2001, and
one of the biggest stars in Hollywood is headlining a film, what do you do?
What it was:
- a somber romantic DRAMA.
- a story about two people, imperfect and struggling
- slow-paced, but not innappropriately so.
What the tried to sell
- a supernatural thriller (what? there's no supernatural aspect!?)
- Jennifer's BIG FACE on the movie poster
- action packed chase scenes (there is, count 'em, one chase scene ten minutes into the film)
The Wedding Planner was very classy. I don't like it because the acting and situations were very phony. If it had been made 40 years ago, it would have
been one of the biggest romantic comedies of all time (however I'm not sure if they had 'wedding planners' back then).
Sid Ganis has been re-elected president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.
The Acad's board of governors voted Tuesday night to give Ganis a fourth term as topper.
"It's a dynamic time for our organization and our art form," Ganis said. "I'm incredibly proud to be a part of it."
In other board of governor positions, past president and executives branch governor Robert Rehme was re-elected first VP; producers branch governors
Kathleen Kennedy and Hawk Koch are now VPs; executives branch governor Tom Sherak was elected treasurer; and public relations branch governor Cheryl Boone
Isaacs was tapped secretary.
New term will be Ganis' last consecutive cycle as president, as there is a maximum of four terms for any one office. Academy board members serve
three-year terms, while officers serve one year.
Ganis, who followed Frank Pierson as president, founded Out of the Blue Entertainment. His most recent film as producer was
"Akeelah and the Bee," and he's currently working on "The Governess," with Jennifer Lopez, and a bigscreen version of "I Dream
of Jeannie."
