the storyline sounds like The Nanny (one of my fave sitcoms ever),
I've recently started watching it and it's really funny.
I'm excited to hear about more Jen movies but I think she should go beyond rom-coms and dramas. How about horror, suspense-thriller or even sci-fi...(who
wouldn't like to see Jen wearing tight spandex?)
I think the perfect male co-star for this type of movie would be someone like a male Julia Roberts (Mathew McC. or Patrick Dempsey)

yeah she definitely should change things up, she's getting boring something like what Tarentino or Rodriguez do would be great change.
^Agreed, she needs a real comeback, something pow in your face, something artistic, edgy, creative, something that says "OMG is that really JLo?! No way
that can't be JLo!" kinda movie or even a "Did you see how JLo cut those bitches up?!" kinda movie, this is just nothing to be excited
about. The Love and Other Pursuits sounded kinda sorta mmm okay interesting though.

I think she will film another movie in 09 after TG & L&OIP. Even if the third movie is Billy Two Sugars for Marc I think she will do something else. I
don't see any music coming in 09 after the G.Hits so shes got plenty of time to have a break and get another movie filmed.
One thing I will say for a rom-com even if it isn't that exicting is that it does keep her 'Young' in audiences and public's minds. Usually the
rom-com genre is the 18-35 range. So I reckon her character will be younger than Jen in real life. (In L&OIP Emilia is 32.)
I think the recent revival of Westside Story on Broadway will be a big success and prompt a film re-make. I think this would only happen in the next couple of
years in the meantime Jen will be over 40 so she may be pushing it to try get one of the female leads in the movie. However she is born for the WSS re-make and
they may just give it her.
The third movie or whatever is after TG needs IMO needs to be a musical or bad ass/action.
It looks like IMO that there are two males leads in TG both the widower and the leader of the crime gang she is dating.

Yea I loved Puchi lol, but I was thinking more on a bigger budget on the likes of Enough, The Cell, and The Wedding Planner type promo and WIDE

Things fell pretty hard and fast for Jennifer Lopez. Not just a few years ago she was one of the biggest stars on the planet. Then came GIGLI and the
Bennifer backlash and things haven't been quite the same since. Since MONSTER-IN-LAW tanked in 2005, Lopez has only three films on her resume, not one
of which had a release of over 1,000 screens. But it looks like Lopez is making a comeback of sorts. The actress
has signed on to star in the romantic
comedy (natch) THE GOVERNESS for Yari Film Group.
Lopez will play a professional thief who disguises herself as a
nanny to ripoff a wealthy widower. Now let's see if you can guess the end of the story. GOVERNESS will be directed by Nigel Cole and
written by Kevin Wade, they of
CALENDAR GIRLS and MAID IN MANHATTAN respectively. GOVERNESS is expected to begin filming
this fall in Massachusetts. If she's looking for a comeback, how about returning to the type of movie
(OUT OF SIGHT) that made her famous in the first place? Is a generic romanticcomedy really
the best idea? Don't we have enough of those without Jennifer Lopez?
Extra Tidbit:Lopez recently signed on to star in a reality TV show for TLC.

tear down others who they don't.
Anyways, like some of you guys have said, I kinda of want a different type of movie besides a Rom-Com.... a dark comedy would be a nice change. If she's going to stick with a rom-com, then something has to be really
different about it and make it stand out. I was thinking that casting should give her a new/diverse type of love interest. She always is paired with a white
male (Ralph Fiennes, Clooney, Michael Vartan, Matthew M.), ya know. If she was paired with someone else, it could probably bring in a different audience too. I
think Tee suggested Will Smith- that would be great!!- it seems like they would have alot of chemistry.
