Intermediate Jen-ology Posts: 417 07/28/08 3:22 PM	Tags : None I love to know new places and I would like to know where you all live and how is your town... I'll show you my small town..is called "Daimiel" and it is in Castilla La Mancha (in the map it's in violet colour and Daimiel is the yellow point near Ciudad Real) it has around 19.000 inhabitants it's a quiet place and beautiful! it's the perfect place if you are looking for tranquility. this is the Spain square and there is the millenium olive... this is one of the churchs this is a national park called "tablas de Daimiel" and this is a lake that is near my cottage, I love it! it's so beautiful I go there almost every weekend as it's very near. and this is my street snowed...this was 2 years ago and it's the first time I saw the snow! it's really rare to see snow here...but that time was crazy! because it snowed a lot! and I in my patio snowed well I hope you guys post some pics of your towns or your favourite places you have been.... It extends both on European side and Asian side. It was the capital city of Rome,Bzyantine,Latin and Ottoman Empire. 12-13 million people live here ,way too much :/ some pictures from google. ^ this is the bridge i pass everyday... ^ this is the beach i usually go ^ my favorite shopping centre. and more pictures

Actually I'd go anywhere really lol. I live in Toronto, Canada. I believe it is the biggest city, but Vancouver is comparable. We have about 4-5 million people, which includes the Greater Toronto Area. So we have Toronto itself, and then Mississauga, Hamilton, Scarborough, all these other cities within the city, I never go to those places because I don't do suburbs. lol Apparently we are also the most multicultural city in the world! This is the skyline as seen from the Harbourfront on Lake Ontario...you can see the Rogers Centre, where the Blue Jays play, and the CN Tower. That area of the city is gorgeous...beaches, islands, plus the Air Canada Centre where Jen & Marc toured, the Toronto FC field, etc etc etc. This is downtown, at Yonge-Dundas Square - our version of Times Square. There is a massive mall, the Eaton Centre, as well as restaurants, the Winter Garden Theatre (which hosts most of the Toronto Film Festival premieres), a million things. This is mostly touristy though. This is the Four Seasons Toronto, one of the luxury hotels...celebrities often stay there. It is in the fancy shopping district, near Chanel and Louis Vuitton and all those places.

I've already seen Toronto and passed Apeldoorn and I must travel to Rio and Istanbul. I wasn't in Daimiel, but I've been in Castilla la Mancha (Toledo and Aranjuez). Here are some pics from Cologne / Germany, the town where I live.

Toledo is beautiful! but I have never been in Aranjuez... Love your city too! I'll have to win lot of money to visit all these countries :P

BB Night Patrol	I live in Laredo, Texas which borders Nuevo Laredo (New Laredo), Tampulipas (sp?), Mexico. My city was named after a town in Spain. Population for Laredo (according to the 2006 U.S. Census is 217,559 and when you include our sister city (right across the small river) we have a combined population of close to 740,000 people. So not small but not huge. Here are some pics of my city. : NASA pic of Los Dos Laredos (The Two Laredos) The river splits the two citites and I live on the right side. The left side of the river is Mexico. Old Laredo: This is the university I attend in Laredo : Texas A&M International University. (The front of the library) And this is the planetarium @ the University. v Mall Del Norte (I think it's the largest mall south of San Antonio, Texas). Did you know that my city and surrounding areas used to be it's OWN country? We're the only city in Texas to have had 7 flags fly over us. Our country was called "Republic of the Rio Grande" and lasted less than a year... Laredo was the nation's capital and this was our capital building... Our former flag: Laredo's only Cathedral (San Agustin Cathedral) Biggest Hospital (Used to be called Mercy Hospital (I was born in Mercy but in an older building)
