I know I am sooooooo late, but I was watching some old/new Jen interviews during the CAUM era, and she paid and completed the album, why did Sony only pay for
2 videos? I guess Sony paid for the 2 videos and her 2 different album photo shoots hmmm....
'One of the great joys in life is doing things people say you cannot do'
^ I do actually think that fact shows a lack of support from her label.
Some people who are just latin singers don't have to pay for their album like I don't think Shakira/ Alejandro Sanz/ Juanes or even Marc have to pay
for their albums. The only reason she would have to pay for it is if the record company wouldn't.
^True, but remember the other interview where Jen had to secretly surprise one of the head label guys to listen to the Spanish album, it shows that the record
label doesn't back her up a lot, and it also seems like she fights with her albums, not to say all other artists don't but Jen clearly has issues with
Sony.

I think Sony lost interest with her when rebirth did not sell as much as they are expecting. but I hope someone is thinking that they (epic) did not
promote it at all and gave up as soon as the 2nd single was released.
For Rebirth, again for the ten millionth time, 2nd single was a natural flop. Who picked it? Probably Sony! The promo for Rebirth ended in May 2005. The album
only sold 3 million copies. Can you blame Jen when there's no support or whatsoever? Maybe it's because Tommy Matola was not there anymore to support
Jen.... seems like nobody believes in her...

No Sony never had interest in Jen, they were probably the ones that orignally gave Jen a B-record deal, but it was Tommy who vamped it up and had her
back, when he left, the backup for Jen left.
One strong single and One weak singles and Like 3 Million sales (Thats a Hit)
Brave is a Weak Seller Witch Is a shame but I Guess Thats Just due to Jen carrying Twins Because If she could I guess she would of promo This Album to the Core
Il guess we will never Know what goes On behind Sonys Closed Doors As far as we Know it may be Jennifer Who turns down all these Promo
Look at Saturday Night take away (Jen was the Guest Announcer) and they did Even air it
Lets not forget her Performance On GMTV they Didn't Air that Either
Remember, HYD was likely released because of a deal they made with Fat Joe. His album came out a few months after Rebirth and they probably had to release it
to promote him.

I think the problem is also that Jen doesn't tend to produce music that fits with what's hot and what sells now...she makes what she wants to make,
which is good, but look at what's popular: Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Jordin Sparks and Coldplay (just looked at my Itunes top 10 sellers). IMO, Jen just
doesn't really fit very well in there. There are very few people over the age of like 23 who can make and sell a hit these days...even Madonna has to work
super hard, and she's MADONNA.

Considering these facets would lead in the fact that Jen should really do a HUGE COMEBACK.
Yes, I feel the same, like SONY don't believe on JENNY, they don't promote her albums like they did when Tommy Mottola & Benny Medinas was on Jenny
staff
Well, we know for sure that Jen is not happy about the way she's promoted, i remember when Samantha announced to us that Jen fired her manager, it was
because of the way they promoted Brave... So let's hope they resolve these issues so she can go back to where she belongs that is to say on top of the
world
