Not trying to play devil's advocate - but what will Jen be doing every wk. "juggling" responsibilites - that will keep non-fans watching too? We're not expecting Marc and the babies as regulars. .
What bugs me more is: why didn't TLC get the concept RIGHT when they 1st announced this idea? Why didn't they call it something else which would explain the differences? A growing number of people dislike or are tired of this reality stuff. Are they that removed? On the blogs I've read - nobody pays attention to the"update" - if it even makes it over there - only the first announcement. I read a lot of disappointment, especially with some who were starting to view her in a positive way. Damage has already been done by all the stories of how they're spending the $6 million..+ those implications.. If it's untrue, it shouldn't be ignored.. and if any of it's true: can't the spending be more discrete? Jmo.

They don't owe anyone an explanation for what they spent it on. If people don't like it, too bad. She doesn't talk about where the money was spent and people complain! She signs on to do a show where she may talk about things and people complain. She just can't win with some people.

I have no idea how the other celeb.parents may have spent theirs, nor do I care. But whoever's letting the details leak out is feeding into the old stereotypes which I thought she was trying to amend. If the $ "leaks" are false. they should deny them.. So anyhow, that's where I'm coming from. I do think far more people are going to watch her show than will admit it. It's free, and there's curiosity. I 'll be watching and I hope it's an awesome show.

If the $ "leaks" are false. they should deny them..Well maybe they did get 6 million for the pics so there isn't really anything to deny, but still even if they got 10 million it's still their money and they don't owe it to anyone to say they got that amount or what they did with their money. btw, it was reported by People Magazine early on that those numbers were not accurate and that they don't disclose what they pay celebs for pics. I'm sure by contract Jen and Marc can't disclose what they were paid either. The media loves to report things to the extreme. Tabloid media is going to always twist and exaggerate stories to attract readers. People have to know what's a credible source of information and what's not. And most of all believe and have faith in Jen to make her own life and career choices. We never know the whole story behind anything that's put out there. |

I doubted their accuracy (e.g jeweled rattles?), but a lot of people swallow it, including mainstream reporters. Last fall before touring, there was an
interview by Access Hollywood about how she's learned to protect their private life together. That theme came from them.
That's about it. We're going into NYC, to Central Park for the 14th annual Parkinson's Unity Walk. I wasn't up to it last year. So far, so good this morning.  Have a good one  -

I'm referring to the ongoing spending reports, as inThe spending reports did not come from them though, it was gossip in the media. I don't recall them mentioning anything to the press about what they spent money on and again it's their money to spend. It's not their fault that people leak stories. That's always gonna happen. Enjoy the walk in NY and stop worrying about a lot of that press stuff. I'm sure Jen and Marc are not losing any sleep over it. The only thing they are losing sleep over right now is getting up with little Max and Emme and they are loving it.
