i think that one of the big problem about those rumours is that it's affecting her career, the fact that she's discreet now is great but the rumours
and bad press is still there (at another level thanks go) and producers look at that when they're casting a movie, they learned that it's not good for
a movie when an actor is getting this type of press, For example i bet you that ever since, that Oprah show marriage with Katie Holmes and since he has been
more open about his personal life in the press Tom Cruise is getting half less job offer.
I have a an article about how producer cast there movie it's really interesting, if you guys want it and can scan it.

I really don't see it as an issue her reps would speak out on. It's just the normal gossip and not that big of a deal. Next week it'll be
something else.

I still think he is a good actor, but some people say that they just cant enjoy 'Tom Cruise' movies after knowing all about his personal life
(including his religion). I guess its not good for any actor to be in the tabloids all the time, particularly if it's negative rumors ( which is all the
press ever focus on).
I'd love to read that, Nadia. That's certainly true that these stories don't help. The good thing, though, is that a lot of times, these aren't
HUGE stories on the cover of US Weekly, you know? But, yeah, her publicist should try to get this stuff under control.

That godparent story never hit mainstream credible press. It came from the UK press which they, her people, are not going to pay any attention to really.
Plus it depends on ones opinion whether that story is viewed as negative press, I think.
I think Jen and her people pretty much just shrug off the gossip for the most part.
So here are the scans about what we talked about, they're all from Premiere magazine !
The Inside Story on who gets what parts.. and why (premiere from March 2006)
(here the most interesting part start under kidman pix on the second page.)
This is an other article here just Jen part: (premiere April 2007)
We may not be doctors An epidemic when we see one: why are some of our favorite actors making such woeful, carrer-threatening decisions?.
It's time to bust out the prescription: We asked those in the know, Agents, Magnagers, Producers, to give the carrers of selected actors the once-over. To guarantee their candor, we allowed
them to speak anonymously. Let the healing begin!

And a Last One: (premiere June 2004)

The fact that Jen is still really popular outside the US is good when it comes to founding financing for an independant movie, it says in the article that
'there are 3 factors that go into casting an independent movie, and one of them is Foreign sale bankability. The huge succes that was Shall we
dance? in foreign countries was probably great for her.
That article was interesting, but I don't know how high-tech their methods are. I mean, Nicole Kidman's movies keep flopping and she's still making
huge epic movies. She immediately popped into my head as I read this.
They mentioned Kate Bosworth as someone bankable, because of Superman, but who went to see it because of her? No one, lol.
Jennifer Lopez is exercising in the middle of the night to shed her post-baby weight.
The Latino singer, who gave birth to twins Max and Emme in February, is reportedly losing up to 10lbs a week by getting up at 4am and
hitting the gym in a bid to regain her famous figure.
A source told Britain's Closer magazine: "Jennifer has always been a workaholic and she has applied the same attitude to her
post-pregnancy regime. Because raising twins is so demanding, she gets up at 4am to fit it all in.
"She spent the last month of her pregnancy planning her regime with a team of nutritionists and personal trainers. She calls them her
120lb team in reference to her target weight. She is working out for three hours a day, seven days a week."
Jennifer, who is married to singer Marc Anthony, is also believed to have cut all carbohydrates from her diet and is surviving on 1,400
calories a day. She is eating only high-protein steamed fish or chicken and fresh vegetables.
The source added: "Jennifer doesn't allow herself any sugar, caffeine or alcohol and she only drinks purified water."

for Kidman it's starting to change the article is from 2006, and even with the flop movies she managed to get one well received movie once a while.
And for Bosworth the director was explaning than they gave him +$5M to make his movie which was staring Bosworth because she got cast in Superman which made
her more well know in Foreign countries which is is the key to get financial for Independent movies.

But getting a well received movie once in a while isn't really ideal when you're banking tens of millions of dollars on these movies, lol. But,
yeah, I didn't take the fact that it was written in '06 into consideration.
