Ok..so I work at a science museum as a part-time worker. Some days I have to open aka man the front desk at one of our buildings. On Sundays I am responsible for manning the front desk at the Natural History building. Well we have people called "weekend managers" and they're responsible for opening both buildings up for the people coming in to work. This includes opening ALL buildings AND the butterfly house and caboose. So this chick has been forgetting to open the butterfly house and caboose on the ONLY day she works...SUNDAYS! After weeks of putting up with this, me and another girl, I decided to email her. I had asked my supervisor, who is all the part-time people's supervisor, if it was ok to leave either a note or an email and she said that it was fine.

I sent her an email, being very jokey about it since she and I have been friends since she started here almost 4 years ago. She went off on the deep end and told me that she knew her responsibilities and didn't need to be reminded of them (well then why the hell doesn't she do them). She also said that she didn't forget because Mack (a useless person that if you ever want him to do something that you don't, just ask) opens up those places for her every Sunday. If it was going to be a problem for ME to open them, she'd gladly do it herself (as if she's doing ME a favor when it's HER job!!).

I just don't see where I'm wrong. I don't have any keys to anything and being that I'm not supposed to be here until 1 on Sundays, it creates a hassle to leave the front desk, when there's people inside, to go and open the house and caboose because she's too lazy to do them herself. I just don't see where I'm in the wrong here...I'm more along the lines of being pissed right now
