This is me...Then hands down, it's her most sincere one (you could tell she was truly in love with Ben, it wasn't just a marketing plan to dedicate the album to him), it was definitely not as calculated as J.Lo or Brave for example... but also, talking about the music, it was risky for her to go in the retro sound but she succeeded, the album is a wonderful mixture between 70's soul/disco sounds while still being contemporary r&b (not too much hip hop thank god)

i also listened to her cathalogue recently and i kinda rediscovered her labums again: i never really paid attention to On The 6 and J to tha L-o! but now that i listen to them again i realize how good they are: on the 6 has a very FRESH sound (which she kinda lost today with Brave, let's face it...), it's a perfect balance between upbeat numbers (full of hip hop, dance, and latin influences) and mid tempos, so it's a strong contender for 2nd favourite album (como ama una mujer gives it tough competition as it shows Jen's more mature side while still being her: sensitive, sensual and diva with the over-the-top ballads, and also for showing off Jenny's vocal shops, i never had as much pleasure listening to the sound of her voice as before) J to tha L-o is exactly how a remix album should be IMO, the remixes are amazing, they kinda re-invented the songs (Hex Hector took WFT to another level) and she could definitely please her dance music fans with that (she should have replaced "Alive" (album version) with the Thunderpuss remix though which is amazing too btw )

Brave is actually an alright album, yes it's full of hits (all of the songs are instant growers, you love them very fast), it's very consistent and strong (there are not a lot of fillers) but i had the feeling it wasn't sincere enought, like she had to do the hottest songs so that she can sell albums again and that's a not so good feeling... Same goes for J.Lo, it's just too calculated for me although it has some GREAT tracks (Walking on sunshine, that's not me, Play...)

her worst album is Rebirth for me, simply because she gives her worst vocal performances ever, she has never sounded as screechy and high pitched and it's just wrong (contrary to a lot of you, i HATe how she sounds in "Cant believe This is me", especially the chorus, it's so painful for me to hear) there isn't a consistent direction too, like she said while promoting it that she was experimenting funk music with that album but that only appears in 2 songs (GR, WUWD)? it has some great songs though ("Get right" is one of her best singles ever, "Hell Be Back" and "Step into my world" are just... perfect) but it's just not as consistant as her other albums
