It's really awkward because of the time difference. There's an hour long recap every night but it's really quick. It's a shame because I love
the Olympics normally.
I've been watching since day one. It amazes me cause sports that I would NEVER watch have me glued to the tv. And the commentators for the mens gymnastics
are absolutely ridiculous, they're sooo annoying.
So why isn't the womens gymnastics team raising hell over the underage chinese team? Good for the 2 girls who won medals in the all around competition
though.
I read an article in Time Magazine where they were talking about how China trains their athletes. They basically go to schools and measure kids to see who
would be best at archery, or javelin throwing or whatever. The ones that fit the specifications are taken to special schools where they're taught the sport
for hours and hours a day. Most of them couldn't care less about the sport. It's unfortunate.
The minimum age to compete in gymnastics at the olympics is 16 but you can compete if you're 15 turning 16 later on this year. Documents have been found
showing that the age of some of the chinese team members are 13 and 14. Their gold medal should be stripped and given to the US.

Aw the gymnastics yesterday was beautiful. The winner is the best one, she did everything correct in a strong and classy way. I was impressed.
I love watching gymnastics and volleyball!
On the other hand, I was watching swimming today and one of the US swimmers she is 41 and she won the gold medal for 50 m feestyle, she was amazing. Really I
wish I can be like her, imagine at the age of 41 and winning a gold medal that would be great.
