First, I'd work on her image. Get her involved in lot of charity stuff, sort of like now. Do some stuff publicly and some privately. People will talk about how motherhood has changed her and she's more down to earth, and blah blah.
Next, I'd put her in a mid-budget romantic comedy with an "it" male actor, like Patrick Dempsey. Only I think he's old news now, so maybe the next Patrick Dempsey. While promoting the film, she'll wear mostly Sweetface and J.Lo clothing.
I'd also make the greatest hits a big deal. Maybe have a one time concert in NY or LA or Miami. Make it a huge deal. Have her perform on all the morning shows and Dancing w/ The Stars and American Idol. Visit the usual morning and late night shows and grace a few magazine covers, including Rolling Stone and Billboard all touting her "10 years in music".

That promotion would take 3
months and filming a movie would take another 3 months and it makes 6 months in 2009. She'll work 6 months and she'll rest 6 months. Its not that hard
-she won't be making that heavy promotion until a new album (2012-2013)
