So I havnt posted anything about my "real life drama" in a long time LOL. So I need some opinions/advice/words of wisdom in this situation. Here it goes....

so yeah I got fired from the spa I used to work at for over a month and a half. the reason was because I requested two days off and they didn't appreciate that therefore they let me go. Even for July 4rth I had to fight to get it off because I already made some plans. ---- On top of that they had me doing other things at the spa, such as, doing laundry in my house, doing laundry at the Laundrymat, learning the Spaware, teaching the other employees how to use the Spaware, doing Inventory of Spa Products, Cleaning, teaching the owner's sister (she replaced my "assistant" job) how to do my "assistant work". Even though I was a Independent Contractor Massage Therapis and other things.

Yes, I know I took it too far by them using me, but still they didn't pay me for the extra work. I only got paid to Massage, and thats it. Nothing more.

I did chair massage to promote myself outside, some days were 90 degrees and the chair and the temperature was too hot for a client to come get a 10min free massage. --- One day I decided to place the chair massage inside the entrance and that way clients will feel comfortable and wanting to come back to schedule an appointment other than suffering on a chair massage when the sun is beaming down on them.

I had a dispute with the general manager when she said to me, "Do not place the chair massage inside the entrance it will disrupt the area of clients coming in and out." then I said, "It's way to hot outside for a client to feel comfortable to get a chair massage in extreme temperatures, I care about my clients." then she said, "Well I don't care, if people see a 10min free massage they'll get a 10min free massage." and I said "Well I had 5 people walk past and I asked them if they would like a 10min, and they said no because its way to hot for a massage." then she said, "Well you need to do chair massage elsewhere, end of story you are not going to do chair massage in the front entrance." ---- so after the dispute I am like whatever.

They blamed me for not making money, and not making them money by not promoting myself enough out in the public. They always say oh Javier you can only blame yourself for not having clients, you have to go market yourself. ("but didnt you say in the beginning you were going to Market me in all different areas?") So whatever, I did go market myself, but who said clients will come the very next day? I also marketed myself at the University near the spa, and I talked many people on who to talk to -- to market myself to the student body. (that's a whole story that I shall remain confidential hehe)

So the owner fired this therapist because she came in 10 minutes late and the owner didnt want to massage the client to begin with. This SAME situation happened with this other therapist I kept in contact with ever since I got fired.

She was tellin me the owner fired her for being 5minutes late, and THEN left her a voicemail stating she's calling the police tomorrow if she (the therapist) does not return the stolen spa products that a girl witnessed her stealing. ("why didn't the witness stop her, or ask her what is she doing?") -- The girl she is so nice, and she doesnt have the criminal bone in her body, so I know she didnt do anything wrong.

So the girl is worried that why is she calling the police, I didnt do anything wrong, she is so evil. ("i told you so")...and i told her "go file a complaint to the state of illinois just incase you get fired"

I filed a complaint to the state of illinois yesterday stating the owner hired a student to work as an Independent Contractor and its illegal in the state of illinois to Hire or to Work as a Massage Therapist without being Nationally Certified, and Licensed. ("good thing I paid attention in school and learned to always report illegal activities in the Massage Therapy world.")

So basically that's what happened, I probably left a few things, and some major information I shall remain confidential and if I ever did something about it Karma is a bitch and it will BITE me in the ass, but if your curious to know the xtra tid bit juicy info just send me a PM

So in conclusion, what should I do? I only filed a complaint by e-mail to idfpr.com , and theres no number to call directly to speak with someone about this unlawful practice. Should I call the police? Should I contact some other type of government official? Should I file a lawsuit because I didnt get paid for my labor, and for her illegal practices? What would you do and What advice or opinion would you ummmmmmmmm recommend me to do?

I can say everything in detail in any law official so it won't sound as "false statements" if you know what i mean. I am sorry this was SUPER long, but if you got this far congradulations! Give me some input, thanks a bunch.
